Critique Reflection

I was not sure how the critique would go because this was the first critique of the semester. I enjoyed that I wasn't initially assigned prompts to answer about my piece. Having every one give me their opinion first was a great way for me to hear  real, raw thoughts on my piece that wasn't influenced by the explanation of my concept. The biggest critique that I received  was that the color, softening and blurring was overdone in some parts. This is because I tried to compensate for rough edged and cuts with a stronger sense of atmosphere. Since, Iam usually hyper- aware of color in my images, I made sure to try and match each image as best as I could. Overall, I'm satisfied with the final piece.
